I threw this together one afternoon when I wanted something chocolatey. It's just cottage cheese blended smooth with cocoa powder and a little sweetener, and that's it. If you have 5 minutes and these 3 ingredients, let's go!

  • Cottage cheese - Blended smooth, it's the creamy, high-protein base. I used Good Culture full-fat for the richest texture.
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder - Add high quality chocolate without sugar. Sift it in so it blends without lumps. I used Anthony's.
  • Powdered sweetener - Sweetens it without sugar. Use a powdered sugar-free sweetener like Swerve. Add more to taste. Sift it in with the cocoa powder.

Instructions

This takes 5 minutes, start to finish.

  1. Blend the cottage cheese smooth. Use an immersion blender right in the cup or a regular blender.
  2. Sift in the cocoa powder and sweetener, then stir until smooth. Taste and add more sweetener if you want it sweeter.
  3. Top and serve. Whipped cream and dark chocolate chips are perfect for this.

  • 5.3 oz serving cup cottage cheese (like Good Culture full-fat)
  • 2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoon powdered sugar-free sweetener
