I created this recipe for a short video at the end of Summer 2025. Because I who doesn't love satisfying overhead Vitamix shots? I'd been wanting to try Saltt's Endless Summer electrolyte powder and I needed a quick summer snack, so I made this super simple smoothie. It's tart, refreshing, and tastes just like pink lemonade.
This is a great summer breakfast especially when you're hanging by the pool and need those extra electrolytes. I hope you enjoy this as much as I loved making it!
Why You'll Love This Raspberry Pink Lemonade Smoothie
- Tastes just like pink lemonade. Super tart, cold, and bright. The cottage cheese blends in clean so you won't taste it.
- Packed with electrolytes. Good after a workout or hanging by the pool on a hot day.
- The macros are just right. It's 14g protein, 7g fiber, and under 300 calories.
- Easy smoothie bowl swap. Cut the almond milk down to 2 tablespoons and top with fresh raspberries, chia seeds, or sliced almonds.

Ingredients
You only need 6 ingredients to make this raspberry pink lemonade smoothie:
- Frozen red raspberries - Gives the smoothie its color and tart berry flavor. Use frozen, not fresh, so it stays thick and cold without needing ice.
- Cottage cheese - Adds protein and blends smooth. You can't taste it. Use full-fat for the richest result, or add a little more for a thicker smoothie bowl.
- Unsweetened almond milk - Keeps the smoothie pourable. Swap in protein milk or a ready-to-drink protein shake for more protein.
- Fresh lemon juice - Most of the tartness comes from here. Squeeze it fresh for the brightest flavor.
- Honey - Balances the tartness. For a sugar-free option, Besti's sugar-free honey substitute swaps in 1:1.
- Pink lemonade electrolyte powder - I use Saltt's Endless Summer. It adds electrolytes and deepens the lemonade flavor - plus it has no weird ingredients. Your favorite tart electrolyte powder works too.

FAQ
Yes. Use about 2 tablespoons of almond milk instead of ¼ cup to get a thicker consistency that holds toppings. Fresh raspberries, chia seeds, sliced almonds, unsweetened coconut flakes, and a light drizzle of honey are all good options.
Two easy ways: add more cottage cheese (this also makes it thicker), or swap the unsweetened almond milk for protein milk or a ready-to-drink protein shake. Either option gets you noticeably more protein without changing the flavor much.
